Grass hopper Tennis

I found versing other people fun. I found the practising of different skills very hard. By Joshua

Zayne

I enjoyed being class champion with Mrs Kotze and Luke M.
The thing that was really hard for me was hitting the ball on the strings and frame.

Leche'

I enjoyed grass hopper because we learned heaps of new things like hitting the ball on the strings and then on the frame. What I found hard was learning to bounce the ball over the net to my buddy.

This term Room 8 is doing grasshopper tennis. It's fun, but hard. I like it because you get to VS people. It's hard to hit the ball!

By Griffin

This term Room 8 is doing grasshopper tennis. I like grasshopper tennis because I like VS people at grasshopper tennis. I also like hitting the ball on my racket. The challenging thing in VS is hitting the ball.

Victoria

I enjoy Grasshopper Tennis because it is fun and enjoy myself.

I find it challenging to hit the ball and not make the ball go out.

Holly's fitness reflection!

The hardest one for me would definitely be push-ups because I have a sore on my knee so I couldn't do it the girl way, and I also couldn't do it the other way because I couldn't keep my knee straight.

The easiest one for me was the sit-ups because I could handle going up and down.

After the circuit was over, I was EXTREMELY tired. I thought I was going to explode!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katie's fitness reflection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Baboom, baboom, baboom, my heart is pounding. It all comes down to this . . . And . . . GO! I sprint as fast as I can to the other goal post. "C'mon 5 sit-ups"!

I found myself doing the sit-ups and running really easily because when I was younger, I pulled myself up over a bar so my tummy muscles are quite strong.

"Poofy, puffy, poofy, puffy". Squats are aching my legs. The push-ups were average.
I did:
30 Sit-ups!
40 Push-ups!
42 Squats!
and my heart rate was: 73!

I did:
15 laps!
My flexibility is 7+!

When I was finished, I thought I was gonna die of exhaustion! My legs were like jelly tooth picks! I was EXTREMELY tired, but my mind thought I've just begun because I'm capable. :-)

Lauren's fitness reflections.

'Phew!' It is all over the whole thing is over and done with. The fitness test was challenging. This is my achievements. My heart rate was 79. That was the easy part. Then it gets more challenging because we had to do 5 sit-ups,10 push-ups and 15 squats and laps. I could only do 10 laps but within those laps we had to do 5 sit-ups, 10 push-ups and 15 squats. That was very tiring indeed. I needed a sleep afterward. I did 26 squats, 49 push-ups and 21 sit-ups. I only got 1cm in flexibility and find it quite challenging. Next time I want to do 30 squats, 5 push-ups and 30 sit-ups and that are my targets.
