A letter to Mum and Dad

Dear Mum and Dad

On the 8th of December 2011 Room 8 had a Christmas art day. We made Christmas ornaments with clay. Then we had morning tea. After morning tea we made reindeer cups. Then we made Christmas crackers. We stuffed our crackers with a balloon, some stickers, a lolly pop and a lolly. Then we had lunch . After lunch was finished we did some backing. We made Christmas chocolate balls. They were delicious. It was mucky and a lot of fun. After we finished cleaning up we got another lolly pop, 2 lollies and a cup full of chocolate Christmas balls. They were delicious. Then we went home.

Year 4 Totara Park Trip

On Monday the Year 4's from Room 8 and Room 4 went to Totara Park for a trip. We learned to collaborate and show resilience. In the morning we played collaborative games. After morning tea we went for a bush walk and had to persevere when we got really tired going up the steps. We had a play on the adventure playground. After a hot tiring walk we sat under the trees and enjoyed our lunch. We couldn't wait to get into the swimming pool. Finally we got dressed and cooled down in an ice cold pool.
