The Aqua

"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1...0!!!!!!"
The big WIDE doors open startling us all. Baboom, baboom, baboom. I think my heart will inplode! My hands feel sweaty, tingly and numb. The tour guide showed us into a black room with posters about water. As we entered into the waterfall room, the water was trickling down into the drain. Some tour guides handed out blue sky raindrops. Suddenly, some of the water got blocked and a gate appeared to a secret entrance...

As we entered the next room everyones jaws dropped! If we're in pairs we'd lift up each others jaws! As we slowly walked into the room, we wondered what the olden-day tap in the middle of the room was there for. Suddenly, it started moving!... A few thought it was a ghost! So the rest of us comforted them. As the tour guide told us to turn around he said "move your hands up and down to create waves, but don't touch the screens". We tried and it actually worked! Waves appeared on the screen as we moved our arms.

Later on, our lights went off. It showed us how bad water pollution is and how its affecting our world. It was so bad, it felt like we were going to cry! But then the olden-day tap was going 'creeek, creeek.' No water was coming out! Lights started flashing, and finally turned off. We lifted up our our raindrops and layed them around the olden-day tap Suddenly, the water started flowing freely. We all sighed with relief. We sadly gave back our raindrops and walked into a different room with touch-screen iPads. We tapped what we would do to help get rid of water pollution. We filled in our details and looked around. Finally... WE HAD TO LEAVE!!!!!!

Measurement

Today in maths I learnt that an elephant and a hippopotamus can weigh  a tonne

This term in maths I have learn't how to work out the area of a shape by counting all of the blocks.
